There is so much information and media overload that we are all subjected to nowadays. It can take a lot of effort to make sure to keep yourself from blending in to the crowd and keep your business not only moving forward, but keeping personal connections with clients strong. When you’re in the service industry, people are your business and you have to keep and cultivate those connections.
One fabulous way to do this is with client appreciation events. Email newsletters, promotional items, instagram and Facebook posts are one thing, but nothing beats face-to-face time to keep connections to clients strong and keeps your business top-of-mind.
This past December, we were asked for a second time to photograph another client appreciation event hosted by Ashley Brinkman of Austin Realty. The party was held at Lustre Pearl, an iconic Austin venue and was not just family-friendly but it was very, very dog friendly, too!
How does Ashley and her team benefit from client appreciation events—and having a photographer to capture it?
1. Be top of mind
The party had great entertainment not just for the parents but for the kids as well. Besides having great games, crafts, an amazing balloon artist and drinks for moms and dads, Santa was around for photos with families and their furry loved ones. Ashley’s clients got to have not only great photos of all their fun moments at the party, but awesome family photos with Santa to use on their Christmas cards.
Christmas was a perfect time to have an event like this! Often, early in the year is when people will consider putting their house on the market and prepare it to sell in spring and summer. Having photographs to remember the event helps keep Ashley and her group on the top of her clients’ minds. And if the hear of a friend who’s considering selling their home, her name will be the one to refer.
This particular client appreciation event is going to be an annual for them. That means more opportunities to keep them thinking of her and her team at Realty Austin.
2. Great branding imagery
Having a body of images at her disposal means that Ashley’s group has photographs to use for marketing campaigns they will run in the future. The fun, candid photos of clients interacting with her team of realtors, kids having a blast with the entertainment definitely go a long way to reinforcing her brand message besides cementing the relationships she has with her clients.
3. Awesome work
When Ashley throws a party, she throws a par-tay! The entertainment, venue and all the vendors are just top notch and we’re so proud to be counted among those that service this annual event. Adults and kids hang out and the smiles and laughter are never ending. Major props to Nate the Great for the amazing balloon sculptures and to Santa Robert!
Ashley and her team plan hard and make sure that it’s a memorable thing. This works, y’all! I know personally, I’ve run into a few of her clients elsewhere because they remember us from the party. They rave about how fun it was for them and their kids. And yes, they mention how much they appreciate the photos that they got to keep and treasure. Photographs of great memories are great keepsakes and are treasured.
These are just some of our favorites…
