Spring Mini-session Portraits

These twenty-minute portrait sessions are photographed in either Driftwood or Dripping Springs. For only $225 these sessions include your choice of 10 professionally edited photos with the option to purchase the full gallery of 25.

The Driftwood location is at our outdoor studio where the lighting is perfect and the sunsets? Just wow…we get to live here! And to be so close to Austin with all its uniqueness? It’s like getting the best of all worlds. In Dripping Springs these mini sessions are at Charro Ranch Park, Belterra Village or Mercer Street. 

This year is really going to go by fast. Can you believe it's almost spring? The light is beautiful and soft in the morning and golden hour is warm and intense in the evening. Hill Country wildflowers and bluebonnets bloom, exploding in color as nature comes alive. The Texas temps are warming and the trees are hinting at coming back to life. It's the perfect time to book your session.

Bring your outfits, kiddos, and even your pets to the session with you.

What should we wear?
The short story: be comfortable.
The long answer: There’s no one right way to dress for a mini session, but our one requirement is that you’re comfortable in what you’re in. Some folks opt for dressy attire or are very casual. Close-toed shoes are highly recommended.

Can I come in costume? 
Why not? Just keep a few things in mind when you’re deciding. First, we’ll be outdoors. So if you pick heels, be sure to bring flats with you to walk from the car to the site where we’ll be taking photos. 

Is there time to change into different clothes?
In a mini session, there is time for only one outfit. If you want to change into different outfits, consider our hour-long photo session instead.

How many people can we fit into one session?
The short story: The mini-session is best for small families.
The long answer: If you have a large family and want to include extended family plus pets, consider our full portrait package.

Can we bring any props?
The short story: of course!
The long answer: Please, do. Props to tell your story would be lovely to share with everyone who sees your photos. Also, please only bring what you can carry home with you—no confetti or things that are impossible to clean up. We want to be respectful of our surroundings.

What if we’re late?
The short story: please don’t be.
The long answer: Things happen, and sometimes you can’t make it on time. We do recommend that you plan to arrive a few minutes ahead of time to avoid this and to make sure you can find the location and park. But since we have a very limited amount of time, if you are late, we will deduct that amount of time from your session. As a result, we may not have as many images to deliver.
