Welcome to my portfolio!

I wear lots of hats but I would like to think that I am first of all a christian seeking to walk according to God’s will (but not always succeeding…good thing there is grace!).

As for photography, I was a subject first before I was behind the camera. My parents dutifully recorded many moments in our lives from the unusual to the every day. I received my first camera and rolls of 110 film I went to town. I still have the first photos I took with that camera.

Neither of my parents are around anymore so the hundreds of photographs they took of our trips, birthdays, family celebrations and every day moments are all the more precious to me. I understand the importance that photographs play in building and keeping connections with others.

Photographing you should be all about just that: you. It's not a sterile, posed portrait but a reflection and expression of who you are. My goal is to help remember the connection and love between couples, the moments of laughter between family members, the bond and intimacy they share.
